This is my sister. She is beautiful. She said it was a little nerve wrecking being shot with film instead of digital, she's a big blinker. She's hardly ever this serious and one usually finds her with a big grin on her face, but for the pictures I think it worked! I love you Ella.

I finally got a working lens for my Canon AE-1 body. It's a 28mm and I found it at a flea market near my house. Here are a few of my somewhat successful first shots with it during Christmas break.

working for LaVida

Being participant of LaVida is an amazing experience, however, I would argue that working for LaVida can be equally, if not more, amazing. Although I didn't work the whole summer, the 4 weeks that I spent doing support staff and being a Sherpa was time well spent. Here are some moments that I cherish.

This morning I walked into my bedroom at my parent's house. It was brightly lit from the sunshine and smelled like clean laundry. I walked over to my bed, and saw that it had already been occupied by my dog Belle, and I couldn't help but take some pictures.
