granola crunchy - recipe

I love granola, and I have been looking for a good chewy granola bar recipe for a very long time. I found a few online and combined them to make my own, and I think I've hit the jackpot.

- 3 cups rolled oats
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2/3 cup oat flour
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tbsp cinnamon
- 2 sticks of butter
- 2/3 cup almond butter
- 2/3 cup wildflower honey
- 1 tbsp vanilla
- 2-3 cups of WHATEVER!

I split my batter in half. In the first half I put one chopped up square of bakers chocolate, a cup of dark chocolate chips, and 1/2 cup of shredded coconut. In the second half I put a cup of cranberries, 1/2 cup of sunflower seeds, and shredded coconut as well.

Press into a greased pan of your liking (the size depends on how thick you want your bars to be. I used two 8x8's), and bake for 40min at 350 degrees.

Let it cool. Cut them. Eat them.

My Eleanora

This is my sister. She is beautiful. She said it was a little nerve wrecking being shot with film instead of digital, she's a big blinker. She's hardly ever this serious and one usually finds her with a big grin on her face, but for the pictures I think it worked! I love you Ella.

wintery mix

Here are a few of my favorite photos from a snowy and lazy Sunday with David. I'm on a bit of a film kick as you can see.

AE-1

I finally got a working lens for my Canon AE-1 body. It's a 28mm and I found it at a flea market near my house. Here are a few of my somewhat successful first shots with it during Christmas break.

The Journey Church - Launch Sunday

This is my church. It is a church planting movement in the Worcester region. Launch Sunday was packed, God was present, and his people were joyful. Here just a few shots from the service.

working for LaVida

Being participant of LaVida is an amazing experience, however, I would argue that working for LaVida can be equally, if not more, amazing. Although I didn't work the whole summer, the 4 weeks that I spent doing support staff and being a Sherpa was time well spent. Here are some moments that I cherish.
