working for LaVida

Being participant of LaVida is an amazing experience, however, I would argue that working for LaVida can be equally, if not more, amazing. Although I didn't work the whole summer, the 4 weeks that I spent doing support staff and being a Sherpa was time well spent. Here are some moments that I cherish.

This morning I walked into my bedroom at my parent's house. It was brightly lit from the sunshine and smelled like clean laundry. I walked over to my bed, and saw that it had already been occupied by my dog Belle, and I couldn't help but take some pictures.

My grandfather owns a 1968 Chevrolet pick up truck. He still uses it for his landscaping business. One of my favorite memories growing up was waiting on my grandparents porch, waiting for my Papa and his beautiful blue truck to pull into the driveway.

My sister had her senior Prom today. She and her friends looked amazing, it was impossible to take a bad picture. Here are some memories of the day:

Hello blogging world

Hello internet. Even though I now have one of these, I wouldn't expect to see much juicy information to flow from my keyboard to the screen. Sorry... don't be too upset. However, I'll be using this page to document the progress of The Sachar Project, my photography experiences, and maybe some of the lessons I'm learning along the way.
